Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how clients, users, and anyone accessing OrbitumAI’s consulting frameworks, custom AI tools, deliverables, and website may and may not use them. It is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions. By using our Services or Deliverables, you agree to this AUP.
Contents
1. General expectations
You must use our Services, frameworks, and Deliverables only for lawful business purposes, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, this AUP, our Terms & Conditions, and our AI Safety & Governance Policy. You are responsible for the activities of your personnel and anyone you permit to use the Deliverables.
2. Prohibited: weaponization and harm
You may not use OrbitumAI’s consulting frameworks, custom AI tools, or Deliverables to develop, operate, or support:
- Weapons or military engineering, including the design, development, or targeting of weapons systems, munitions, or the operation of autonomous systems intended to cause physical harm.
- Unlawful or mass surveillance, including tracking, monitoring, or profiling individuals in violation of privacy or human-rights laws, or building tools primarily designed for such surveillance.
- Deepfakes and synthetic-media deception, including creating audio, images, or video that impersonate real people or organizations to deceive, defraud, defame, or manipulate, or non-consensual intimate or sexual imagery of any person.
- Critical-infrastructure attacks, or any activity intended to endanger public safety.
- Content that exploits or endangers minors, or that facilitates human trafficking, terrorism, or other serious harms.
3. Prohibited: reverse-engineering and extraction
Except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you may not, and may not permit others to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble OrbitumAI’s Background IP, proprietary AI models, prompt systems, agent architectures, or software, or attempt to derive their source code, structure, or underlying methods.
- Extract, copy, or reconstruct model weights, parameters, embeddings, or training data from any AI model made available by OrbitumAI, including through model-extraction, distillation, or inversion attacks.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest our systems, outputs, prompts, or website using automated means except as we expressly authorize in writing.
- Use our outputs to train or improve a competing AI model or service without our written permission.
- Circumvent or disable any usage limits, security features, rate limits, or access controls.
4. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use our Services or Deliverables to generate, distribute, or facilitate: content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that incites violence; fraud, phishing, spam, or deceptive practices; infringement of intellectual property or misappropriation of trade secrets; malware, ransomware, or other malicious code; or unlicensed regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) presented as authoritative without appropriate professional review and human oversight.
5. Data and input restrictions
You must have all rights and consents necessary for any data you submit, and you must not upload protected health information (PHI), sensitive personal data, payment or government-ID numbers, or other restricted content into tools that have not been formally vetted and approved for that data class, as described in our AI Safety & Governance Policy. You must not submit third-party confidential information without authorization.
6. System integrity
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any OrbitumAI system, account, or network; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services; probe or test the vulnerability of any system without our written authorization; or use the Services in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on infrastructure or that of our subprocessors.
7. Enforcement and consequences
We take violations seriously. Depending on severity, a violation of this AUP may result in warning, suspension, or termination of Services, revocation of any license to Deliverables, and referral to law enforcement or regulators where appropriate.
We may investigate suspected violations and, where legally permitted and operationally feasible, suspend access to prevent ongoing harm. We may also be required to preserve or disclose information to comply with law or protect the rights and safety of others. Termination for an AUP violation does not entitle the responsible party to a refund and does not limit our other rights and remedies under the Terms & Conditions.
8. Reporting violations
If you become aware of any actual or suspected violation of this AUP, please report it promptly to abuse@orbitumai.com with enough detail for us to investigate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Effective date.” Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
